My practice is based in a peaceful village near the borders of Dorset, Somerset and Wiltshire, between Gillingham and Shaftesbury. I offer long or short term Counselling and Psychotherapy for adults, young people and children for issues such as anger management, relationship issues, bereavement, abuse, anxiety, stress, addiction and depression. I am a supervisor for other counsellors and psychotherapists. I use an integrative approach, including CBT, meaning that I use skills from my varied training to suit the client's need. I work for the general public, charities and businesses. I am also an Accredited Hypnotherapist and can offer this therapy as and when required and appropriate.
I believe that giving a client the oportunity to share and explore issues with someone who is empathic and non-judgemental can be tremendously empowering, having a significant effect on their ability to cope and their self-esteem.
I have a comfortable and private therapy room with easy parking available and disability access.
